The Art of the Pitch Deck: Storytelling for Investors

Investors see hundreds of decks a week. Most of them are boring, confusing, or just plain bad. The ones that stand out aren't the ones with the best graphics; they're the ones with the best story.
The Narrative Arc
Your pitch deck is not a report; it's a movie trailer. It needs a hook (The Problem), a hero (The Solution), and a climax (The Vision). If you're just listing features, you've already lost them.
Data vs. Insight
Data is what happened; insight is why it matters. Don't just show a graph of user growth. Explain *why* users are growing and *how* you're going to keep them. Investors invest in your understanding of the market, not just the numbers.
The "Ask"
Be clear about what you need and where it will take you. "We are raising ₹2Cr to reach ₹10Cr ARR in 18 months." Specificity breeds confidence.
